This is a new bracelet – hot off the work desk by about 2 hours! I just purchased the ‘Grape on Grape’ lentil bead last week from Art by Val. The picture was wonderful and the beads were even more beautiful! It has a nice flower bathed in more purple with a nice green stem to it. The second picture will give you a better view of the flower on the bead.

It looks so nice on my wrist that I may have to keep this one… Made with wonderful shiny sterling noodles, Swarovski crystals and a great sterling toggle with a nice little flower on it. If you would like to purchase this please click on the Paypal button and it can be yours! Free shipping in the US.

Susie loves bling!

Susie, a friend of mine, loves bling — the more the better! And I can hardly wait to show this to her! I think it will get her ‘seal of bling approval’!

Recently I had the chance to purchase some 14mm Swarovski cubes. If you’re ‘metrically challenged’ like me, 14mm is just over 1/2 inch. And 1/2 square inch of Swarovski crystal is pretty amazing to see! And if that wasn’t enough bling I hung some smaller Swarovski teardrops from underneath it to expand that bling factor.

This lovely chunk of crystal is attached to sterling hammered oval links measuring 18 inches in length.

If you are ready for the bling factor, you can purchase it using the Paypal link below. 99.00 will get you a lot of bling for the buck! And that includes free first class shipping in the US.

You just never know! SOLD

You just never know how quickly something is going to sell – and this necklace is a case in point. Fortunately I had taken a couple of quick pictures of it last week.

About 3 weeks ago, I was shopping for parts for another necklace and I ran across this pendant — and thought this would go with the tiger eye bits and pieces I’ve been gathering for a while. I just finished this necklace last week and took it to it’s first show – at the Tallman House Art Show in Janesville, WI.
A young lady and her mother were one of the early shoppers that Sunday and the young lady really was admiring it. She tried it on but wanted to cruise the rest of the show before committing. They came back eagerly looking for it – worrying that someone may have bought it before they got back. They questioned me and I told them someone else had been admiring it — and the young lady was so relieved it was still there! And she is now the proud owner of this necklace.

This necklace is made with all tiger eye beads of different shapes and sizes with sterling loops and rings at the end so that it is adjustable from 18 to 22 inches long. The tiger eye just sucks you right into the bead with it’s chatoyancy. Chatoyancy is a big word that describes tiger eye and other similar stones have an optical reflectance to them. And now we’ve had our ‘science minute’ for the day – once again thanks to Kathy and Judy of WGN Radio in Chicago. I love to listen to them and they used to have a ‘science minute’ ever so often and play ‘scientific music’ whenever one of them learned something new that was science related. You will have to imagine the ‘science music’ while you think about the tiger eye!

No, you’re not dreaming — it’s really snowmen! And on the 1st of August, too!

We’re having a week of over 95 degree weather here in Wisconsin this week and I’m making snowmen earrings. Well, it wasn’t intentional but I have an Art Show this coming weekend at Tallman House in Janesville, Wisconsin. I thought maybe between the snowmen earrings and the ice cream earrings people might feel cooler while they’re at my booth. Well, all right – it’s my fantasy and I can dream if I want to!

These lovely little snowmen are made from Swarovski crystals, Swarovski pearls and sterling. They are just about 1 1/4″ long from the hook on the ear wire. They are 20.00 a pair which includes free first class shipping in the US. I’ll put in the little Paypal buttons and if you would like to buy a pair just click on the Buy Now button.

They will make nice stocking stuffers and great little presents for those last minute gifts when you realize that you need just ‘one more present’.
